Description
This course introduces you step by step to the world of computers - MS Windows. You will learn the basics of using the mouse and keyboard and how to create and design simple text documents.
You will also learn how to
- Import photos and use them for a slide show
- Read and send e-mails
- Search for information on the Internet
- Install apps from the Windows Store and download them via the internet
- Understand important everyday computer terms
Learning objectives
- You will gain confidence and self-assurance in using the PC.
- You will be able to use the mouse and keyboard effectively.
- You will be familiar with different areas of computer use and have gained initial experience.
- You will be able to save and retrieve documents.
- You will be able to find the information you need quickly and easily on the Internet.
- You have a good basis for further courses.
Target group
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to use a computer independently but has little or no experience.
Prerequisites
Ideally, you will have the opportunity to practise during the course on a PC with Windows 10/11, Internet access and Office programmes Word and PowerPoint or LibreOffice, SoftMaker Office or OnlyOffice and similar offerings.

8 dates with 3 lessons each (lesson = 50 minutes)
